Abstract: ABSTRACT INTELLIGENT C-PLANE PACKET FILTER In accordance with aspects of the disclosure, a method, includes: receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from a network node, an indication to configure the UE to map procedures or services to one or more streams; mapping, by the UE, the network node-related procedures or services to one or more streams; transmitting, by the UE to a network apparatus supporting a network node, an RRC message or lower layer protocol message, wherein a header of the RRC message or lower layer protocol message includes a stream identifier of a stream of the one or more streams or a field that contains the stream identifier; and causing the network node to map to the stream corresponding to the stream identifier.
