Abstract: ABSTRACT INTELLIGENT BRAKING IN AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES Techniques for providing intelligent braking solution, in a vehicle 100 are described. In an example, an input is received to initiate a regenerative braking system in a vehicle 100. Upon receiving 5 the input, it is determined that the input corresponds to emergency braking. In response to determining that the input corresponds to the emergency braking, it is determined whether a regenerative braking force, generated by the regenerative braking system, corresponding to the input is less than a 10 braking force required to stop the vehicle. Based on determining that the regenerative braking force is less than the braking force, a command to activate a mechanical brake included in the vehicle is generated.
