The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: An intelligent autonomous cart system for dynamic user tracking is disclosed. The system comprises a central processor, a camera module configured to capture a visual data stream, and a gait detection algorithm. The algorithm uniquely identifies and authenticates a specific user by extracting biometric gait features from the visual data stream. The system further employs motor drivers and actuators to autonomously follow the authenticated user in real-time. In one embodiment, the system uses an occlusion-resilient tracking method to ensure continuous following when the user is partially blocked. The cart may optionally integrate a Bluetooth module for proximity verification and includes obstacle detection sensors for safe navigation. This novel combination of features solves the problem of misidentification and enhances tracking robustness in crowded, real-world environments.
