Abstract: ABSTRACT INTELLIGENT AUTONOMOUS BIOMETRIC COURIER CONTAINER SYSTEM FOR SECURE LAST-MILE DELIVERY A system for secure last- mile delivery comprises a portable container system (10) transported with a parcel through successive custody handovers. A multi-layer biometric authentication subsystem (20) includes a fingerprint sensor (22), a facial recognition camera (24) with liveness detection, and an OTP input interface (26). An electronic lock mechanism (30) locks or unlocks the container system (10) based on authentication results. A sensor array (40) provides location, weight, environmental, and motion data. A microcontroller (60) executes an autonomous AI decision engine that selects and executes delivery actions based on multi-sensor fusion without human intervention and generates hash-chained cryptographic custody blocks for each handover event. A cellular communication module antenna (50) provides autonomous connectivity. A cloud platform (70) comprises a predictive digital twin service (72), a trust score engine (74), and an explainable AI module (76). (FIG. 1)
