Abstract: The present invention discloses a computer-implemented and hardware-integrated system and method for automated diagnosis and biomechanical validation of lumbar intervertebral disc herniation using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI). Patient-specific MRI data are preprocessed using adaptive contrast enhancement and denoising techniques, followed by segmentation of vertebral structures using Particle Swarm Optimization. Extracted features are analyzed through a multi-stage artificial intelligence architecture comprising Gradient Boosting, YOLO-based disc localization, and Enhanced AlexNet classification to identify and categorize herniated discs. Herniation severity is quantified using morphological measurements. The segmented anatomy is reconstructed into a three-dimensional model, which undergoes finite element analysis under co CM O physiological loading conditions to generate stress- strain distribution data. The validated model is subsequently fabricated using additive manufacturing to produce a patient-specific lumbar spine model. The invention provides an integrated diagnostic ecosystem enabling objective diagnosis, biomechanical correlation, and improved surgical planning and patient education.
