MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641115698 A) filed by Mohamed Yusuff Musthafa on September 28, 2026, for Integration Of Dehumidification And Indirect Cooling Processes In Small To Medium Air Conditioning Systems.
Inventor includes Mohamed Yusuff Musthafa.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: Integration of Dehumidification and Indirect Cooling Processes in Small to Medium Air Conditioning Systems [044] An air conditioning system includes a three-layer hydrophilic nanoporous metal-mesh dehumidification assembly (110), an indirect cooling heat exchanger (120), an evaporator coil (130), a blower (140), a condensate tank (150), a circulation pump (160), and a controller (170). The hydrophilic nanoporous coating captures water vapor by adsorption and capillary condensation and conveys condensed liquid toward exposed mesh surfaces. When the incoming-air humidity ratio exceeds 16 g/kg of dry air, the controller energizes the mesh from a high-voltage DC supply (116) so that the resulting electric field assists redistribution and coalescence of condensed liquid into larger droplets for gravityassisted drainage. Condensate water is circulated through the indirect cooling heat exchanger (120) according to a tank water-level input to provide pre-cooling while the water is colder than the treated air.
