MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641112806 A) filed by Sr University on September 21, 2026, for Integration Framework For Holistic Neurodegenerative Disease Modeling.
Inventors include Chenchu Swetha; and Dr. Chiranjeevi Manike.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: This invention relates to a Unified Multimodal Representation Learning System for Holistic Neurodegenerative Disease Modeling. The system incorporates diverse data sources from healthcare, such as neuroimaging data (MRI, PET, fMRI), genetic data (SNPs and gene expression profiles), and EHRs, to a unified representation framework. Preprocessing and feature extraction approaches are first applied on each modality, and multimodal fusion is conducted to generate holistic disease representations. The unified representation is then used for disease diagnosis, disease prognosis, risk prediction, biomarker identification, and personalized treatment suggestions. The invention enhances prediction performance and provides useful guidance for precision medicine.
