Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: Integrated Waste Aluminium Dross Conversion Process for Ultra-pure Green Hydrogen Production and Aluminium Tri-hydroxide (ATH) Recovery The present invention relates to an integrated process for producing hydrogen gas from waste aluminium dross and recovering aluminium trihydroxide (ATH) as a by- product. The process comprises mixing aluminium dross with seawater under stirring at ambient temperature, followed by addition of an aqueous alkaline (NaOH) solution as an alkaline activating agent. The reaction proceeds without external heating to generate hydrogen gas, which is passed through a packed-bed column containing activated charcoal for moisture removal and subsequently collected. The residual solid is recovered by filtration, washing and drying to obtain aluminium trihydroxide, which is further characterized for its physicochemical properties.
