Abstract: FORM 2 ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an Integrated Vacuum-Assisted Supraglottic Airway Reprocessing System for the cleaning, decontamination, and reprocessing ‘ of reusable supraglottic airway devices, including Laryngeal Mask Airways (LMAs), i-gel devices, and similar airway management devices. The system comprises a sealed reprocessing chamber incorporating vacuum-assisted immersion, antifloating stabilization, pulsatile internal lumen flushing, ultrasonic- assisted cleaning, and a pilot balloon protection mechanism within a single integrated unit. Vacuum-assisted immersion removes trapped air from the device, enabling complete exposure to the cleaning solution, while the stabilization mechanism prevents buoyancy and maintains proper device orientation throughout the cleaning cycle. The internal lumen flushing system delivers controlled pulsatile flow through the airway channel to facilitate the removal of biological residues and contaminants from inaccessible internal passages. Ultrasonic-assisted cleaning enhances the removal of adherent debris from external surfaces, and the pilot balloon protection mechanism safeguards the inflation assembly during reprocessing. The integrated system provides standardized, reproducible, and efficient cleaning while reducing manual intervention and operator-dependent variability.
