Abstract: The present invention relates to an integrated thermoelectric energy harvesting system for recovering waste heat generated by refrigerator compressors. The system comprises a refrigerator compressor, an adaptive thermal coupling assembly, at least one thermoelectric generator module, a heat dissipation assembly, a power conditioning circuit, an energy storage unit, and an output interface. The adaptive thermal coupling assembly maintains substantially uniform thermal contact between the thermoelectric generator module and the curved compressor surface to enhance heat transfer efficiency. Thermal energy generated by the compressor is transferred to the thermoelectric generator module and converted into electrical energy through the Seebeck effect. The generated electrical energy is conditioned through a DC-DC boost converter and voltage regulator, stored in a rechargeable battery, and supplied to external electrical loads. The invention provides an efficient, compact, and retrofit-compatible solution for recovering waste heat and converting it into usable electrical power for auxiliary applications.
