MUMBAI, India, July 13 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641081523 A) filed by Melvin S Thadathil on July 02, 2026, for Integrated Predictive Survivability, Mission Risk Assessment, And Remote Emergency Management System For Underwater Passenger Submersibles.
Inventor includes Melvin S Thadathil.
The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.
Abstract: A predictive survivability and autonomous environmental safety management system for underwater passenger submersibles is disclosed. The system includes environmental sensing systems, oxygen management systems, survivability prediction systems, ballast-linked atmospheric estimation systems, adaptive environmental validation systems, emergency recovery management systems, passenger assurance systems, and shore-based survivability monitoring systems. The system predicts atmospheric survivability conditions prior to dive initiation, dynamically regulates environmental conditions during underwater operation, and generates emergency recovery commands and initiates emergency survivability procedures when survivability thresholds are exceeded. The system further incorporates external environmental intelligence data and governmental warning information to generate operational mission risk assessments and automatically prevent unsafe dive operations. The invention improves underwater passenger safety, survivability assurance, operational reliability, emergency recoverability, and civilian underwater tourism confidence.
