The application for the patent was published on July 03, 2026, under issue no. 27/2026.
Abstract: An autonomous pico-scale ethanol production system (100), operable at capacities of from about 20 to about 2000 litres per day, comprises a fermentation subsystem (120) with adaptive nanobubble-assisted fermentation, a flash ethanol recovery subsystem (140), a distillation subsystem (150), a water reclamation subsystem (160), a thermal recovery subsystem (170), a renewable energy management subsystem (180), and an autonomous control subsystem (190) with edge computing and cloud communication. In the method of operation, nanobubble generation parameters are dynamically adjusted in response to real-time fermentation-state data, and flash ethanol recovery is automatically triggered upon detection of predetermined fermentation-state conditions. Reclaimed water quality parameters serve as active inputs to fermentation control. A digital twin model continuously predicts and optimises process performance. A plurality of systems may be interconnected in a distributed production network with centralised analytics and machine-learning optimisation. All subsystems are integrated within a transportable skid-mounted or containerised enclosure.
