Abstract: Disclosed is an integrated maternal-foetal monitor for continuous pregnancy risk assessment. The monitor comprises a wearable body positioned over an abdominal region of a pregnant subject, a maternal sensor group supported by the wearable body for collecting maternal physiological data, a foetal sensor group supported by the wearable body for collecting foetal physiological data and a uterine sensor supported by the wearable body for collecting uterine activity data. A processing unit carried by the wearable body is operatively connected to the maternal sensor group, the foetal sensor group and the uterine sensor to generate a risk score from the collected data. An alert unit issues an alert according to the risk score. A communication unit operatively connected to the processing unit and a location unit transmits a distress message containing location data when the risk score corresponds to an emergency condition.
