The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: An integrated indoor-air-quality enhancement device (100) and method are disclosed for industrial environments. The device comprises a multi-stage assembly housed in a single housing (102), comprising a coarse pre-filter stage (110), a HEPA-and-activated-carbon stage (120), a wet chemical scrubber stage (130) with contact packing (134), an evaporative cooling pad stage (140), and a UV-C disinfection stage (160) arranged in series along an air-flow path driven by a downstream air-mover (170). A shared recirculating liquid circuit (150), including a common reservoir (154), a single recirculation pump (152), and a dosing arrangement (158), simultaneously delivers a single body of alkaline aqueous potassium permanganate solution to both the scrubber stage (130) and the cooling pad stage (140). The configuration drives a synergistic mechanism where latent heat cooling of the liquid at the pad improves gas solubility and chemical scrubbing efficiency at the packing bed. Fig. 1
