MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611079405 A) filed by Credenta Technologies Private Limited on June 27, 2026, for Integrated Hardware-Rooted Attestation And Audit Architecture For Physiological Authentication.

Inventors include Kumar, Ravit; and Mann, Sakshi.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An integrated, hardware-rooted attestation and audit architecture for mobile physiological authentication anchors a single non-exportable hardware-bound signature to both a structured measurement packet and a step-hash provenance chain, the two being bound through a common transformation-record interface defined independently of the physiological scoring algorithm. A packet assembly module deterministically serialises the packet. A provenance chain module computes each stage hash from the preceding hash, a serialised transformation record, and the stage output bytes, producing a hardware-signed root enabling selective disclosure by forward recomputation. A validation logger maintains an append-only authenticated-encryption audit chain in which the additional authenticated data of each entry is derived from the ciphertext of the preceding entry, rendering the chain resistant to silent re-encryption. A five-input trust scoring engine, with preferred weights summing to unity, maps a weighted score to discrete trust tiers carried in the signed packet. A failure-to-abstain policy module emits one of four abstention codes in place of a signed packet on any gate failure, so that receipt of a signed packet implies passage of all gates, the architecture thereby providing process-to-output binding, re- encryption-resistant audit, calibrated multi-factor trust, abstain-not-degrade behaviour, and algorithm-substitution survivability.
