MUMBAI, India, Aug. 17 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617084071 A) filed by Bp P. L. C. on July 08, 2026, for Integrated Fischer-Tropsch Processes.
Inventor includes Eschenbacher, Andreas.
The application for the patent was published on August 14, 2026, under issue no. 33/2026.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to a process for preparing hydrocarbons. The process comprises providing an iron Fischer-Tropsch (FT) feed stream comprising CO2 and H2; contacting the iron FT feed stream with an iron-based FT catalyst to provide an iron FT product stream; separating the iron FT product stream to provide a condensate-rich iron FT product stream rich in water and C5+ hydrocarbons, and a condensate-poor iron FT product stream rich in C1-C4 hydrocarbons comprising C2- C4 olefins; providing an olefin oligomerization feed stream comprising at least a portion of the C2-C4 olefins of the condensate-poor iron FT product stream; contacting the olefin oligomerization feed stream with an olefin oligomerization catalyst to provide an olefin oligomerization product stream comprising oligomerized hydrocarbons; and including the oligomerized hydrocarbons of the olefin oligomerization product stream and the C5+ hydrocarbons of the condensate-rich iron FT product stream in an FT-oligomerization product stream.
