The platform combines a nine-stage structured learning workflow (Overview, Block Diagram, Wiring, Registers, Code, Simulation, Compile, Testing, Quiz), a Line Inspector subsystem correlating individual firmware source lines to microcontroller register-level hardware effects, an AI inference engine augmented by a domain-specific RAG retrieval system over device datasheets and reference manuals, a Register Visualization subsystem providing bit-level display and live write-back of register values to physical hardware via JTAG/SWD debug interface without firmware recompilation, step-over firmware execution control through on-chip debug module integration, a Hardware View panel for physical board navigation, and a Test Guidance subsystem for user-directed hardware output validation. The platform supports PIC microcontroller families in a primary embodiment and is designed for extensibility to additional architectures, serving both engineering students and professional embedded developers.
