Abstract: An Integrated Active Triband Antenna system includes a microstrip antenna having a common antenna input and first, second, and third patch elements stacked relative to one another. The first, second, and third patch elements are inductively coupled to the common antenna input and configured to resonate at respective first, second, and third frequency bands. A radio-frequency front end coupled to the common antenna input includes a preamplifier, a power divider, first, second, and third signal paths, a power combiner, and a post-amplifier. The power divider distributes an antenna signal from the preamplifier among the signal paths. Each signal path includes a respective band-selective filter and a respective path amplifier. The power combiner combines signals from the signal paths for amplification by the post-amplifier and delivery through a common radio-frequency output.
