Abstract: An insulation removing assistive device, comprising a cylindrical shaped hollow body 101 having a proximal opening 102 and a distal opening 103, a handle 104 attached with body 101 gripped by user to insert a wire from which insulation is to be removed within body 101 via distal opening 103, an imaging unit 105 installed within body 101 and integrated with a laser measurement sensor determine diameter of wire, a motorized iris lid 106 installed with distal end for gripping wire, an inductive proximity sensor installed within body 101 monitor presence and diameter of conductor within wire, accordingly appropriate depth up to which insulation of wire is to be cut is determined, a motorized circular sliding unit 107 is installed over inner periphery of body 101 translate a motorized cutter 108 configured with sliding unit 107 to cut insulation.
