Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is an instrumented bearing endurance tester comprising a chassis supporting a rotational test region, a drive motor connected to a main transmission shaft, a removable test shaft received by the main transmission shaft, and a test bearing carried by the removable test shaft. A test bearing block receives an outer region of the test bearing. An axial loading assembly is coupled with the test bearing block through a first axial force sensor positioned inline with an axial force-transfer path, and a radial loading assembly is coupled with the test bearing block through a second axial force sensor positioned inline with a radial force-transfer path. Temperature and vibration sensing arrangements are positioned adjacent to the test bearing. A data acquisition unit receives axial force, radial force, temperature, and vibration signals and generates a drive stop signal when a sensed bearing condition satisfies a stored threshold.
