Abstract: Brain tumors represent one of the most critical medical conditions due to their impact on neurological function and survival rates. Early and accurate detection plays a vital role in effective treatment planning and patient outcomes. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is widely used for brain tumor diagnosis because of its superior soft-tissue contrast and non-invasive nature. However, manual interpretation of MRI scans is often time-consuming, subjective, and prone to human error. This study proposes an automated system for brain tumor detection and classification using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs). The model automatically extracts spatial and textural features from MRI images to distinguish between multiple tumor types—Glioma, Meningioma, Pituitary, and No Tumor. The proposed method enhances diagnostic accuracy, reduces reliance on expert radiologists, and significantly accelerates the analysis process.
