Inventors include Saran C; and Ashwin Raj Suresh.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION The proposed innovation introduces a groundbreaking hybrid system that seamlessly integrates enzymatic biosensors with- energy_storage functionalities. Bv utilizing a unique ternary composite material comprising Metal oxide, polyaniline (PAN1), and multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs), this research addresses critical challenges in healthcare diagnostics and renewable energy technologies. The hybrid material leverages the synergistic properties of its components: the high conductivity and stability of MWCNTs, the exceptional electrochemical behavior of PANI, and the catalytic efficiency of metal oxide. For biosensing, glucose oxidase (GOx) is immobilized onto the composite material, enhancing the sensor's sensitivity, selectivity, and operational stability for precise glucose monitoring. 0 In energy storage, the material demonstrates outstanding electrochemical properties, such as high specific capacitance and enhanced cycling durability, making it an ideal candidate for supercapacitor applications. The innovative integration of these dual functionalities within a single platform not only paves the way for next-generation portable diagnostic tools but also addresses the growing demand for sustainable energy solutions. This research introduces a scalable, eco-friendly fabrication process through hydrothermal synthesis, ensuring industrial feasibility while maintaining environmental sustainability. By bridging gaps in current technologies, the proposed hybrid system offers a transformative approach to healthcare and energy, aligning with global efforts toward sustainability and innovation.
