The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a novel oligosaccharide-based organofunctional silane-siloxane copolymer (Formula 1) composition designed for durable, non-biocidal anti-odour textile finishing. The composition enhances odour-capturing and odour-neutralizing capabilities of textile materials while maintaining their physical integrity. It comprises a biodegradable copolymer system with strong chemical bonding to textile substrates, ensuring wash durability and long-lasting effectiveness. The invention further discloses a synthesis process involving the reaction of organosilanes with oligosaccharides in the presence of a catalyst, leading to a stable oligomeric structure. The resulting copolymer is compatible with textile processing chemicals, has a shelf life of 15-24 months, and provides over 85% anti-odour efficacy at low concentrations. The invention is applicable to cotton, polyester, and various combination thereof, offering an environmentally friendly and high- performance solution for odour control in te
