Abstract: Injection device The injection device (1) includes: a housing (2) containing a reservoir (11) for storing a predetermined volume of a medical product, a patch (22) arranged on the housing (2) for allowing attachment of the injection device to an injection site, and a catheter insertion mechanism (3) including a needle (34), a catheter (32) and a fluidic chamber (5) configured for fluidly connecting the reservoir (11) to the catheter (32) The fluidic chamber (5) is axially movable together with the needle (34) and the catheter (32) between an initial position and an activated position, distally located with respect to the initial position, in which the needle (34) and the catheter (32) are deployed outside the housing (2) in order to penetrate into the injection site. A sealing member (4) is fixedly attached to the catheter insertion mechanism (3) and configured for maintaining sterility before activation of the device (1). The sealing member (4) includes a pricking portion (461) configured to be pierced by the needle (34) during movement of the needle (34) and the catheter (32) towards the activated position.
