The information transmission method comprises: determining target configuration information on the basis of a selected CSI-RS pattern; and sending the target configuration information to a terminal, wherein the number of ports corresponding to a CSI-RS is greater than 32, the CSI-RS pattern is a pattern in one or two slots in the time domain and in one or two PRBs in the frequency domain, the CSI-RS pattern is obtained by aggregating at least one CDM-type pattern by means of TDM and/or FDM, a CDM type comprises at least one of the following: a 16- port pattern type, a 32-port pattern type, an 8-port pattern type, a 4-port pattern type and a 2-port pattern type, the target configuration information comprises: the number of antenna ports, density information, CDM type information, CDM group frequency-domain position indication information and CDM group time-domain position indication information, and one CDM group corresponds to one CDM type.
