Abstract: ABSTRACT INFORMATION TRANSFER PROCEDURE Example embodiments of the present disclosure provide a solution for an information transfer procedure. In an example method, a first device generates a first information transport message comprising a first information element (IE), a second IE, a third IE and a fourth IE which are applicable to multiple types of protocol data unit (PDU). The first IE indicates a service type of the first information transport message, the second IE indicates an interaction flow type of the first information transport message, the third IE comprises a PDU carried in the first information transport message, and the fourth IE indicates address information of a destination of the PDU. The first device then transmits, to a second device, the first information transport message. Accordingly, the second device receives the first information transport message from the first device. Then, the second device processes the first information transport message.
