Abstract: This information processing device has an acquisition unit and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires planned values and actual values for a plurality of factors in a steelmaking process. The control unit can calculate a first temperature and a second temperature using a model on the basis of the plurality of factors. The control unit determines the temperature of molten steel at the end of a refining treatment as a target temperature so that the calculated first temperature and second temperature are included in a first range. Each time the actual values of some of the plurality of factors detected after the start of, and during, execution of the steelmaking process are acquired in a stepwise manner, the control unit updates the first temperature and the second temperature on the basis of the actual values and the planned values for the other factors. The control unit determines the target temperature each time the first temperature and the second temperature are calculated and updated.
