The application for the patent was published on July 10, 2026, under issue no. 28/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an industry based live human detection system for monitoring restricted and hazardous industrial areas. Industrial environments involving ยท heavy machinery and hazardous operations pose serious safety risks when humans enter restricted zones unexpectedly. The proposed system uses a combination of multiple sensors including a Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor, an ultrasonic sensor, an acoustic sensor, and a radar sensor connected to an ESP32 microcontroller to detect human movement and activity. An ESP32-CAM module captures real-time images which are processed by an AI classification model trained on the Edge Impulse platform to accurately differentiate between humans and non-human objects. When human presence is confirmed through sensor fusion and image classification, the system activates multiple alert mechanisms including a voice module with speaker for audio warnings and real-time push notifications through a Blynk loT mobile application for remote monitoring. The system also incorporates a relay-controlled electronic door lock for automated access control. Data processing is performed locally using.. edge computing to reduce latency and enhance privacy. The system is simple, cost-effective, and suitable for various industrial safety and security applications.
