Abstract: Title: Industrially Scalable Aqueous Process for Preparation of Spray-Dried Liposomal L-Glutathione Powder with Minimized Oxidative Degradation The present invention relates to an industrially scalable, aqueous, solvent-free process for preparing spray- dried liposomal L-glutathione powder with minimized oxidative degradation. Purified lecithin is dispersed, hydrated, homogenized and colloidally milled to form a lecithin dispersion, combined with aqueous L-glutathione under controlled agitation, blended with carbohydrate carriers (starch, maltodextrin), and spray-dried at controlled temperatures. Oxidation is minimized using an antioxidant system, inert-gas blanketing and pH control. The resulting composition shows high encapsulation efficiency (about 73–87%), nanometric particle size, favorable zeta potential, and predominantly reduced (bioactive) glutathione, providing enhanced stability, bioavailability and cellular delivery for nutraceutical and pharmaceutical use.
