MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202531076764 A) filed by Dr. Rudranarayan Ray on August 12, 2025, for Industrial Production Of Ammonia From Urea Of Animal Sources By Enzymatic Hydrolysis.

Inventor includes Dr. Rudranarayan Ray.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION OF AMMONIA FROM UREA OF ANIMAL SOURCES BY ENZYMATIC HYDROLYSIS This invention relates to a system of generation of ammonia from urea. Urea reacts to urease to generate ammonia. The ammonia generated could be cooled to liquefy and collected in containers. Initially urine and urease mixed in pre heat reaction chambers and the ammonia gas generated is collected in intermediate reserve tank. The substrate and enzyme mixture then sent to heat reaction chamber from pre heat reaction chamber. The reaction chamber is heated about 50 to 100 degrees Celsius. The ammonia generated would also be collected in intermediate reserve tank after passing through air filters and dehumidifiers. The ammonia gas mixture is then liquified either by compression or cooling or both. The liquid ammonia is ready to transport.
