MUMBAI, India, June 19 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202524113357 A) filed by Camco Technologies Nv on November 18, 2025, for Inductive Power Transfer Feedback In A Container Scanning System.

Inventors include Bossens Jan Amandus Michel Maria; and De Geeter Jef Simon Gaston.

The application for the patent was published on June 05, 2026, under issue no. 23/2026.

Abstract: “INDUCTIVE POWER TRANSFER FEEDBACK IN A CONTAINER SCANNING SYSTEM” Example embodiments relate to a container scanning system (200) comprising a rail (201) that is mountable on a support or beam of a container handling crane, wherein the rail comprises space (202) for wiring; a sensing unit (210) movably mounted along the rail, wherein the sensing unit is configured to scan an exterior surface of a container and configured to be powered by inductive power transfer (207); and within the space for wiring (202), a timing belt (203) configured to move the sensing unit along the rail, wherein the timing belt comprises at least one wire member (252, 262, 272). Wherein the sensing unit (210) is further configured to generate a power feedback signal indicative for the operational state of the inductive power transfer (207) to the sensing unit, and configured to propagate the power feedback signal along the at least one wire member (252, 262); and wherein the container scanning system further comprises a contactless receiver (205) configured to contactless retrieve the power feedback signal from the at least one wire member (252, 262, 272).
