MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202614021918 A) filed by Suzuki Motor Corporation on February 24, 2026, for In-Vehicle Air-Conditioning System And Abnormality Diagnosis Apparatus Thereof.
Inventor includes Takeo Katsuya -.
The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.
Abstract: An abnormality diagnosis apparatus of an in-vehicle air-conditioning system is mounted on a vehicle and performs air conditioning of a cabin by a refrigeration cycle of refrigerant. The apparatus determines whether a high-pressure cut-off condition defined as a situation in which a pressure of the refrigerant Prgf compressed by a compressor 1 exceeds a threshold Pth1 is established. The apparatus makes abnormal cut-off determination (S307) when number of times of determination Ncut that the high-pressure cut-off condition is established has reached a predetermined number of times Nth1. The apparatus detects a vehicle state having correlation with the pressure of the refrigerant Prfg, and prohibits the abnormal cut-off determination when the detected vehicle state is a predetermined state (S303, S304).
