Abstract: ABSTRACT TITLE: IMPROVED HIGH POWER X-BAND ELECTRONICALLY TUNABLE PHASE SHIFTER USING VARACTOR TUNED DUMBBELL DGS. This work presents a compact X band Electronically tunable phase shifter using varactor tuned DGS with symmetric vertical coupling from open ended microstrip stubs. Varactor controlled stubs modulate DGS slot resonance, perturbing the electric field under the central line to achieve continuous phase shift without direct RF path loading. The design delivers low loss, high linearity, and wideband performance suitable for phased array applications. Fig. 2
