Abstract: Disclosed is an implant assembly (100) for a sternum and ribs, the implant assembly comprising: a sternum plate assembly (102) configured to replace a portion of the sternum; a wing assembly (104) comprising an upper wing (108) and a lower wing (110) positioned opposite to the upper wing, wherein the wing assembly is adapted to be engaged with at least one sternum plate, via at least one connection channel (112) from a first end thereof, and receive a given rib therein to align and support the given rib; and a plurality of locking elements (106a-b) adapted to secure: the upper wing with the lower wing to result in the wing assembly, and the sternum plate assembly to the sternum.
