Abstract: ABSTRACT IMPACT OF REAP-TIME PRONUNCIATION ASSESSMENT AND ADAPTIVE FEEDBACK IN AN INTELLIGENT ENGLISH TUTORING SYSTEM The ability to communicate effectively on a global scale requires the acquisition of the English language; however, many students struggle with pronunciation, fluency, and confidence when speaking the language. It is difficult for learners to immediately remedy their mistakes while using traditional techniques of language acquisition because these methods do not provide real-time feedback. Within the scope of this study, an Intelligent English Tutoring System that incorporates Real-Time Pronunciation Assessment and Adaptive Feedback is proposed. For the purpose of evaluating the learners' speech and providing quick feedback, the system employs speech recognition, pronunciation analysis, and adaptive learning techniques. To enhance one's ability to communicate verbally, the system gathers data on one's voice, evaluates the accuracy of one's pronunciation, and offers individualised feedback. The use of cloud-based processing makes it possible to do continuous monitoring and tracking of performance. Learning efficiency is improved, pronunciation accuracy is improved, and learner confidence is increased through the implementation of the proposed method.
