Abstract: ABSTRACT IMPACT OF AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE-BASED REAL-TIME ROAD ACCIDENT DETECTION AND AUTOMATED ALERTING SYSTEM Road accidents are one of the major causes of death and injury worldwide. Delayed emergency response, lack of real-time accident monitoring, and inefficient communication systems often increase the severity of accidents and reduce survival rates. Traditional accident reporting systems mainly depend on manual reporting, which causes delays in emergency medical assistance and traffic management. This paper proposes an Artificial Intelligence-Based Real-Time Road Accident Detection and Automated Alerting System. The proposed system integrates artificial intelligence, IoT sensors, cloud-based monitoring, GPS tracking, and automated emergency alert mechanisms to detect road accidents instantly and notify emergency services in real time. The system collects vehicle and environmental data, analyzes accident conditions using AI algorithms, and automatically sends alerts with location information to hospitals, police stations, and emergency response teams. The proposed framework improves accident response time, enhances road safety, reduces fatalities, and supports intelligent transportation systems.
