MUMBAI, India, Aug. 10 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621070835 A) filed by Nehal Shah; and Priti Nehal Shah on June 07, 2026, for Immutable Cryptographic Evidence Vault With Computation Lineage For Regulatory Tax Compliance.

Inventors include Nehal Shah; and Priti Nehal Shah.

The application for the patent was published on July 31, 2026, under issue no. 31/2026.

Abstract: An immutable cryptographic evidence vault with computation lineage for regulatory tax compliance is disclosed. The vault stores tax computation records with Write- Once, Read-Many (WORM) storage semantics using cloud object storage in Compliance Mode. Each evidence record is cryptographically sealed using ECDSA signatures computed by a Hardware Security Module over a canonical SHA-256 hash. A computation lineage graph links each evidence record to its source financial events, consent artifacts, rule versions, and agent identifiers, with cross-agent lineage stitching enabling traversal from ITR line items to source events. A proof-of- deletion mechanism generates HSM-signed certificates upon consent revocation, providing verifiable proof of erasure obligation fulfilment under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. A citizen right-of-access export API generates signed, structured computation lineage exports for regulatory audit and citizen enquiry.
