Disclosed is an imaging optical lens, comprising seven lenses in total, the seven lenses being, sequentially from an object side to an image side, a first lens having a positive refractive power, a second lens having a negative refractive power, a third lens, a fourth lens having a negative refractive power, a fifth lens, a sixth lens having a positive refractive power, and a seventh lens having a negative refractive power, wherein a focal length of the imaging optical lens is defined as f, a focal length of the sixth lens is defined as f6, a focal length of the seventh lens is defined as f7, a central radius of curvature of an object-side surface of the seventh lens is defined as R13, a central radius of curvature of an image-side surface of the seventh lens is defined as R14, and an Abbe number of the first lens L1 is defined as v1, satisfying the following relational expressions: 1.40=(f6-f7)/f=1.70, 2.00=R14/R13=6.00, and 60.00=v1=82.00.
