Abstract: ABSTRACT AN IMAGELESS HAND-HELD ULTRASOUND DEVICE FOR ASSESSMENT OF SUBJECTS AND METHOD THEREOF The present disclosure provides a device (200) and a method (400) for determining a condition of a subject (102) using ultrasound imaging. The device includes a hand-held ultrasound probe (308) configured to acquire image data from a target Region of Interest (ROI) by sweeping the probe in a predefined motion. In accordance with the method (400), the device identifies a breast region with maximal tissue depth (402), optimizes gain and depth settings using image processing techniques (404), and subsequently acquires image data for cancer screening (408). A computing unit (204), incorporating processors (304) and memory (306), dynamically generates images from the acquired data and determines a condition of the subject using a pre-trained machine learning model (302) (410). Based on this determination, a notification unit (106) provides an alert indicating whether further breast cancer screening is required (412). Fig. 2
