Abstract: Provided in the embodiments of the present application are an image decoding method and apparatus. The method comprises: first, receiving a code stream; then, acquiring first image information on the basis of the code stream, and performing feature transformation on the first image information, so as to obtain a feature of the first image information; then, inputting second image information into a diffusion model, so as to obtain a target feature, wherein the feature of the first image information is used for adjusting an intermediate feature generated during the process of performing feature generation processing on the diffusion model, and the second image information comprises one of a preset noise image, an initial reconstructed image determined on the basis of the code stream, or an image obtained by adding noise on the basis of the initial reconstructed image; and then performing reconstruction processing on the target feature, so as to obtain a target reconstructed image. In this way, the subjective quality of a reconstructed image can be improved.
