Abstract: TITLE: IFA TRACKER – AI-ENABLED TAMIL MOBILE HEALTH SYSTEM FOR IMPROVING ADHERENCE TO IRON AND FOLIC ACID SUPPLEMENTATION AMONG ANTENATAL WOMEN APPLICANT: 1. MEENAKSHI ACADEMY OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND RESEARCH 2. MEENAKSHI MEDICAL COLLEGE HOSPITAL AND RESEARCH INSTITUTE ABSTRACT The present invention discloses a culturally adapted digital maternal health adherence system for improving compliance with Iron and Folic Acid (IFA) supplementation among antenatal women. The system comprises a Tamil-language display unit, a daily reminder notification generator configured to issue fixed alerts at 8:00 PM, and an AI-enabled processing unit incorporating Tamil-language natural language processing for providing context-specific clarification relating to IFA supplementation, anemia prevention, maternal nutrition, side effects, and healthcare queries. A tablet intake data recording unit records daily consumption, while a scoring unit generates streak scores, achievement indicators, and progress visualization. A motivational message delivery unit provides reinforcement through visual and audio notifications. A communication connector unit incorporates a dedicated WhatsApp API connector for one-click connectivity with an RHTC in-charge, while an emergency support unit provides direct call routing to designated maternal healthcare providers. The system facilitates IFA adherence monitoring, motivational reinforcement, maternal healthcare communication, and timely maternal healthcare support.
