The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: A respiratory pressure control apparatus includes a gas source (1), a patient interface (2), a height-adjustable clamp (3), a liquid reservoir (4), an inspiratory limb (5), a bubble-regulating cap (6), and a fixed expiratory hole (7). The inspiratory limb (5) has a distal outlet submerged in a liquid column of the liquid reservoir (4), and an immersion depth of the distal outlet sets a peak inspiratory pressure based on hydrostatic pressure. The height-adjustable clamp (3) adjusts the immersion depth during operation. The bubble- regulating cap (6) regulates gas discharge from the distal outlet into the liquid column to form controlled bubbles and reduce pressure oscillations. The fixed expiratory hole (7), located at or adjacent to the patient interface (2), generates positive end-expiratory pressure by flow-dependent resistance independently of the immersion depth. The apparatus provides passive, low-complexity, independently controllable respiratory pressure support.
