Abstract: The present invention relates to the design and development of a hydrophobic and fog-resistant helmet visor intended to improve rider visibility and safety under adverse weather conditions. The proposed visor is manufactured using optical-grade polycarbonate material and incorporates a duallayer surface treatment consisting of an inner anti-fog coating and an outer hydrophobic coating. The hydrophobic, lay er repels waterdroplets, rain, and moisture, while the anti-fog layer prevents _ condensation caused by temperature and humidity differences. This combination ensures clear vision during rain, cold weather, and high-humidity environments. The visor is lightweight, impactresistant, scratch-resistant, and compatible with standard helmet mounting mechanisms. The invention enhances riding comfort, reduces visual obstruction, and minimizes accidents caused by fogging or water accumulation on the visor surface.
