Abstract: Hydrogen-Assisted Dual Fuel Injection System ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an internal combustion engine equipped with a dual fuel injection system that utilizes both conventional hydrocarbon-based fuels and hydrogen. The system comprises a primary injector for hydrocarbon fuels and a secondary injector specifically designed for hydrogen delivery. An adaptive electronic control unit (ECU) governs the timing, quantity, and sequencing of both injectors based on real-time engine operating parameters. The invention enables controlled hydrogen supplementation to accelerate flame propagation, improve combustion efficiency, and reduce emissions without requiring complete substitution of conventional fuels. Integrated safety mechanisms, including flame arrestors, leak detection sensors, and pressure regulators, ensure reliable hydrogen operation. The system is applicable to automotive, marine, stationary power generation, and agricultural engines, offering a scalable pathway toward cleaner combustion technology.
