Abstract: The IoT-based Water Flow Monitoring System for Poultry is designed to address key challenges in poultry farming such as water wastage, irregular water supply, and the absence of real-time monitoring. These issues directly affect poultry health, farm productivity, and operational efficiency. Conventional water management methods depend largely on manual supervision and fixed schedules, which often fail to detect leaks or abnormal water usage at the right time. This system introduces an automated and intelligent approach to ensure efficient and reliable water management in poultry farms. The proposed solution uses IoT technology to provide continuous real-time monitoring of water flow and valve status. An ESP32 microcontroller integrated with a high-precision water flow sensor collects and transmits data to a cloud-based dashboard, allowing farmers to track water usage, detect leaks, and receive instant alerts during abnormal conditions. Historical data analysis offers actionable insights for optimizing water consumption and reducing wastage. The system also supports remote monitoring and control, reducing the need for manual intervention and improving response time to faults.
