MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541022191 A) filed by R S Kashinadhan on March 12, 2025, for Hydraulic Damping System For Automotive Safety.

Inventor includes R S Kashinadhan.

The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a hydraulic damping system (1A) for automotive safety, comprising a casing (1C) made of Aluminium 7075 T6 with specified dimensions, containing hydraulic fluid. A piston assembly (2A) is slidably mounted within the casing (1C), including a piston plate (2B) with fluid drainage holes, each containing a check valve, and a connected piston rod. A rubber ring (1B) creates a seal in front of the piston plate (2B). A casing cap with a central hole and two breather holes, completes the assembly. The system is designed to absorb and mitigate impact forces during high-velocity collisions, activating when an impact force exceeds a predetermined threshold. (FIG. 1)
