The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.

Abstract: Title: HYBRID UAVS FOR DUAL-MEDIUM OPERATIONS The titled invention discloses a hybrid aerial-aquatic unmanned aerial vehicle capable of autonomous operation in both aerial and underwater environments. The vehicle 5 comprises an adaptive variable-pitch propulsion system (1), an autonomous transition mechanism (2), an intelligent buoyancy control system (3), a morphing structural system (4), a waterproof electronic and communication module (5), a multi-sensor navigation suite (6), an Al-based flight control and mission management system (7), and an energy management and power distribution system (8). The adaptive variablen pitch propulsion system (1) automatically generates efficient thrust in both operating environments, while the autonomous transition mechanism (2) enables seamless airto- water and water-to-air transitions. The intelligent buoyancy control system (3) and morphing structural system (4) provide stable underwater navigation with reduced aerodynamic and hydrodynamic drag. The Al-based flight control and mission 15 management system (7), together with the multi-sensor navigation suite (6), performs autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, and mission execution. The invention provides an intelligent, reliable, and energy-efficient dual-medium platform suitable for defence, search and rescue, marine surveillance, environmental monitoring, underwater inspection, and scientific exploration.
