Abstract: The present invention relates to a hybrid renewable energy generation system that combines footstep energy harvesting and photovoltaic solar energy generation for producing electrical power. The system comprises energy-harvesting floor tiles incorporating piezoelectric sensors and/or electromagnetic generators configured to convert mechanical energy from pedestrian movement into electrical energy, and photovoltaic solar panels configured to convert solar radiation into electrical power. A power conditioning unit including rectification, filtering, voltage regulation, and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) functionality processes energy generated from both sources. The processed energy is stored in a hybrid energy storage system comprising batteries and supercapacitors. A microcontroller-based control unit monitors and manages energy generation, storage, and distribution using predictive energy management algorithms. An Internet of Things (IoT) communication module enables real-time monitoring, remote diagnostics, and system control. The disclosed invention provides a sustainable, scalable, and efficient renewable energy solution for public infrastructure and smart city applications.
