Abstract: ABSTRACT HYBRID QUANTUM-CLASSICAL COMPUTING SYSTEM WITH INTEGRATED ERROR MITIGATION AND FAULT-TOLERANT SCALABILITY FRAMEWORK A hybrid quantum-classical computing system (100) is disclosed comprising a classical computing subsystem (110), a quantum processing subsystem (120), a heterogeneous orchestration layer (130), an adaptive error management module (140), a fault-tolerant transition engine (150), and a noise-aware compilation and scheduling subsystem (160). The system integrates classical processors, accelerators, and memory hierarchies with quantum processing units supporting multiple qubit technologies including superconducting circuits, trapped ions, photonics, and neutral atoms. The adaptive error management module continuously characterizes the quantum noise environment and dynamically selects optimal error mitigation strategies including zero-noise extrapolation, readout error mitigation, dynamical decoupling, and probabilistic error cancellation. The fault-tolerant transition engine autonomously manages progressive migration from noisy intermediate-scale quantum operation to fault-tolerant quantum error correction using surface codes, dynamically partitioning physical qubits between computation and error correction. The system provides a unified platform enabling continuous computational utility across the transition to fault-tolerant quantum architectures. [
