MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641070686 A) filed by Cvr College Of Engineering on June 06, 2026, for Hybrid Quantum-Classical Biophysical System For Secure And Accurate Medical Diagnostics..

Inventors include Dr. Sankararao Yadam; and S. Ravikanth.

The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: A sophisticated Invention is qualified and encompasses a hybrid quantum and classical biophysical diagnostic device capable of providing both secure and accurate medical diagnostics with the ability to integrate multiple stages of biophysical signal acquisition, advanced feature extraction, and hybrid quantum/classical computation. Using the physiological biophysical signals such as EEG / ECG and/or Images derived using medical imaging, we can extract meaningful information, such as spectral, temporal and resistive characteristics, which we can encode into a Quantum-enhanced feature space using variational quantum circuits to enable superior patterns to distinguish those characteristics and resiliency to noise that would not have been recognized using a classical machine. The second component of the invention is a classical machine learning model operating on a quantum processor to obtain a diagnostic result with respect to neurological and cardiovascular diseases that have extremely high accuracy rates in most cases.
